ayah away

Ayah is away for the next four weeks. Now it really is just you and me. He's only been gone a day and I miss him already. Thank god for you.

You're smiling and chuckling a lot nowadays. Sometimes when you start getting restless or cry, all I really need to do is to be completely attentive to you and just chat away. Just that and you'll reward me with the sweetest smile I've ever set eyes on.
This attentiveness, the simple appreciation of someone's mere presence, is something I believe in and I want to remember to always apply to you.

Bought some winter clothes for you; you look so cute in them. The weather's starting to turn now, getting cold. As much as possible I still want to keep taking you out on walkabouts. I need the exercise anyway.
